Who this policy covers

Qierah is an Australian registered business developing AI assistance and software tools. This policy explains this website, contact and support enquiries, and the current development scope of our applications. Products still in development are not available for public download here.

This website

This is an informational website hosted on GitHub Pages. It has no sign-in, chat, payment form, advertising trackers or Qierah analytics scripts. It does not ask for access to your microphone, files or social media accounts. It does not set cookies or use browser storage through its own code.

GitHub processes technical information associated with hosting and requests, such as IP addresses and browser information, under its Privacy Statement. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own data practices.

Qierah Very Simple Video Editor

The current Windows desktop editor processes selected videos, photos, audio, text and overlays locally. Projects refer to media files on your device, and exports are saved to a location you choose. Voice recording uses the microphone when you start a recording, subject to Windows microphone permissions, and saves recordings on your device.

The current editor does not include AI processing, a Qierah account, social media publishing or a built-in upload of your projects to Qierah. It has no built-in Qierah advertising or analytics service. Keep your own backups. Closing a project or removing a recording from the timeline does not necessarily delete the original media or saved recording; you control those files through your device.

This describes the development version reviewed for this website. The released version’s privacy information will be reviewed before public release. Files saved in a folder managed by a cloud-sync service may be synced by that service according to your device settings.

Qierah AI Helper and future software

Qierah AI Helper is an AI-powered assistant and creative development project, currently in development. No assistant chat or file upload is provided by this website. AI-assisted features can involve external providers. Product-specific information about the providers used, data sent, storage, retention and available controls will be provided before a public release or service requiring that processing.

Custom software projects can have different data needs. Any proposed access to personal or confidential information, external AI processing or hosted storage must be discussed as part of the project’s scope before that processing begins. This website is not an invitation to submit confidential project files.

Connected services and social accounts

Social account integrations belong to the separate Qierah AI development project, not the Very Simple Video Editor. A supported connection requires the account holder’s authorisation through the relevant platform. Depending on the enabled feature, account identifiers, permissions, access tokens and content selected for publishing may be processed for the requested action.

Website visits do not grant that access or authorise publishing. Access can be revoked in the relevant platform’s account settings. Revoking access does not automatically remove content already published or data held by that platform. Public availability of an integration is not promised on this website.

Contact and support information

If you contact Qierah, the information you choose to provide is used to understand and respond to your enquiry or resolve a support issue. Please provide only what is needed. Support information may include your chosen contact details, product version, a description of a problem and any diagnostic material you deliberately share.

Email Qierah at info@qierah.com for support, business enquiries or privacy requests. Email messages include the sender’s address, message content and any attachments you choose to send. Messages sent to this address are forwarded by Porkbun to the business inbox. Porkbun processes forwarding data under its Privacy Policy; Microsoft handles the destination email service under its Privacy Statement. Clicking an email link opens your configured email application; it does not automatically send a message.

GitHub Issues remains an option for public, non-sensitive feedback. Your GitHub profile and anything you post there can be visible publicly. Do not post passwords, access tokens, personal documents, private recordings or confidential files. GitHub controls account and issue data under its own privacy terms.

Retention, choices and privacy requests

You control the local project, media, export and recording files on your device. Information voluntarily sent for an enquiry is kept as needed to respond, resolve the matter and meet applicable record-keeping obligations; no fixed automatic deletion period is promised.

Include only the information needed to explain your request, and do not send passwords or access tokens. Information held by Microsoft, GitHub or another third-party service is also subject to that service’s controls and policies.

This page will be updated when the website or product data handling changes. Check the date above and any product-specific notice before using a released application or connected service.
